Scholarships and Donations

For Canadian Residents

We understand the CAD/USD exchange rate dropped sharply this year, and is making it difficult for many Canadians to attend the event in a year when the event is in Canada. For this reason, for 2016 only, we have budgeted additional funds through our scholarship program to help subsidize the difference in the exchange rate for Canadian attendees. These exchange rate scholarships are available through an expedited process. For these scholarships, only item 1 of the Eligibility section below applies. The remainder of the eligibility requirements and the Recipient Requirements do not apply.

If you are a Canadian attendee the exchange rate is presenting a financial hardship for you, please contact before registering, and we will provide you with the necessary details. Please do not register before you receive a response from us. Please note that all attendees, including Canadian attendees, are eligible to apply for a standard scholarship as listed below (for which all normal requirements apply).
